Rosie

Rosie is a beautifully balanced puppy who looks much like her mother Wally, and she has the same lovely temperament and enthusiasm for life that Wally has.  She approaches life with no fear whether splashing her way through the water bucket, swimming in the pond or giving as good as she gets from her big boy cousins, Teddy and RebelShe has an innate birdiness inherited from her father Ed and her grandmother Lisl.  Rosie loves to run and recently earned a second place in the puppy stakes at the Weimaraner Club of the Tennessee Valley's field trial.   Rosie is also learning to track; she puts her nose to the ground and never hesitates in making her way (even across pavement) to the end articleRosie earned her first two breed points this past fall at the Huntsville and Decatur Kennel Club Shows and picked up two more points at the Country Music Cluster in March.  Rosie is owned by Dorine de Vries and me.

It nearly broke my heart when I lost Rosie to bloat shortly before her first birthday,  I learned a very hard lesson about who was trustworthy to take care of my dogs when I had to be away.
